As seen on this past Monday’s RAW, Baron Corbin was named the Constable of RAW when he presented a letter to RAW General Manager Kurt Angle that was signed by RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie’s letter said she needed Corbin to be her eyes & ears while she is away from the red brand. WWE posted the following teaser on Constable Corbin going into tonight’s RAW, which is the Money in the Bank Go-Home Show:
How Will RAW’s New “Constable” Settle Into His New Role?
Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon has named Baron Corbin the new “Constable” of Raw with the intent of keeping Raw General Manager Kurt Angle in line. He has already been enjoying his new position, which has thus far included berating referees and spoiling Bayley, Sasha Banks and Ember Moon’s victory party, and something tells us he’s just getting started. How will The Lone Wolf assert himself next?
Don’t miss the final Monday Night Raw before WWE Money in the Bank, live at 8/7 C on USA Network!
It was previously reported that there is an injury storyline going into tonight’s Money in the Bank Go-Home edition of RAW with Natalya and Alexa Bliss. WWE teased a hamstring injury for Bliss and a knee injury for Natalya, putting their status for both the Women’s MITB Ladder Match and tonight’s Fatal 4 Way Match with Sasha Banks and Ember Moon up in the air. WWE posted the following teaser for the injury angle:
Will Natalya and Alexa Bliss Be Able To Compete in A Fatal 4-Way Match?
On the same night Natalya suffered a knee injury during her bout against Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss also seemed to suffer a leg injury during the night’s Six-Woman Tag Team Match.
Few details have been released regarding the condition of either The Queen of Harts or Little Miss Bliss, but both Superstars are nevertheless set to battle Sasha Banks and Ember Moon in a Fatal 4-Way Match on Raw. Who will prevail before all four women face Team Blue’s Naomi, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Lana in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match?
Aside from WWE teasing the Constable Corbin & Injury Storylines for tonight’s RAW, it looks like WWE is teasing a Money in the Bank Match as the main event for tonight’s episode of RAW.
WWE.com recently reported the following, confirming a match between Roman Reigns and Jinder Mahal for tonight’s RAW.
Roman Reigns Accepts Jinder Mahal’s Challenge For A Match Tonight on RAW:
Jinder Mahal & Elias stole a tag team win from Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins last Monday on RAW. Later in the night, The Big Dog got a piece of The Modern Day Maharaja in a backstage encounter, and now it appears the WWE Universe won’t have to wait until WWE Money in the Bank to see the arch-rivals square off.
Friday on a WWE.com Exclusive, Mahal challenged Reigns to a match for tonight’s RAW, and the former WWE Champion accepted one day later. With animosity between the two Superstars at an all-time high, will there will be anything left of either competitor by the June 17 pay-per-view?
Jinder said, “Big Dog, you walk around on Monday nights like it’s your yard. Well I’ve got news for you, it’s property of The Modern Day Maharaja and this Monday on RAW, I challenge you to a match.”
Time has come for The #BigDog to be tamed. This Monday on #Raw. @WWERomanReigns #WWEJackson pic.twitter.com/QuiVIUNkUG
