Sasha Banks Teases Leaving With The Revival, WOS Title Change

WWE Superstar Sasha Banks has got a huge match scheduled for the Royal Rumble event next week. She will be taking on Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship in what some fans have been calling a “dream match.” This will be Rousey and Banks’ first time going one on one in the ring, so it will certainly be interesting to see what the two of them do when they go head to head next weekend. However, did Sasha Banks actually just tease leaving the company soon? While speaking with The Revival’s Scott Dawson on Twitter, Banks got the wrestling world talking by tweeting out a message with the caption “take me with you,” playing off of the rumors of The Revival leaving WWE at some point very soon.

Holy I want to be like the revival #wwesanantonio ??

Don’t matter where we go, we’re stealing the show. #FTR

It was reported earlier this week that both members of The Revival asked WWE officials for their releases. Both Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder are said to be upset with their position in the company and with the treatment of the tag team division in general. Neither Scott Dawson nor Dash Wilder have been granted their releases as of yet, and it is even being rumored at this point that the company may opt to have the two of them wait until their current deals expire rather than just letting them go work for a different promotion right away. In this instance, Sasha is likely just playing along and having some fun with the rumors, but with several reports of other WWE Superstars being unhappy and looking to leave soon, Banks’ tweet is intriguing to say the least.

There is a brand new champion in World of Sport, and her name is Bea Priestley. According to a report from PWInsider, Priestly was able to win the WOS Women’s Championship from Viper during yesterday’s World of Sport show. As previously reported, Viper was offered a deal from WWE to begin working as a member of the NXT UK roster, which she is expected to sign imminently. Fellow WOS star Kay Lee Ray is also heavily rumored to be leaving the show momentarily in favor of joining NXT UK. With Viper and Kay Lee Ray both on their way out of WOS, Priestley shares the WOS women’s division with only Kasey Owens and Ayesha. Expect to see Priestley defend her title against one of those two women in the near future.
