Ronda Rousey’s Next Matches Announced, Wyatt/Hardy Storyline News

Ronda Rousey managed to impress fans during her in-ring debut at WrestleMania this past weekend, and it looks like WWE will be getting the former MMA star back in the ring very soon. WWE has announced that Rousey will be competing on four upcoming shows as part of their annual post-WrestleMania European tour. Rousey will be competing on the May 16th show in Geneva, Switzerland, as well as in Vienna, Austria on May 17th, then in Turin, Italy on May 18th, before wrestling a fourth time in Paris, France on May 19th. Rousey’s opponents for those shows have yet to be confirmed as of right now, but that is also expected to be announced very soon.

Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt have have a very interesting few months in WWE together to say the least. After losing to Wyatt, that was the catalyst for Matt Hardy to become “Woken.” The two Raw Superstars continued to feud for months with the two of them each trading wins back and fourth. A match to settle the score took place in the Hardy Compound a few weeks ago. “The Ultimate Deletion” match saw Hardy defeat Wyatt in one of the most peculiar matches in WWE history before later shoving him into the Lake of Reincarnation. Wyatt mysteriously did not emerge from the lake and he was nowhere to be found on WWE television at all for weeks until he finally returned during WrestleMania.

Wyatt suddenly helped Matt Hardy win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal during the WrestleMania Kickoff show, and the two are now hoping to win the Raw Tag Team Championships. Believe it or not, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed that WWE may already have plans to split Hardy and Wyatt up. WWE is reportedly considering having Wyatt turn on Hardy in order to serve as the leader of the debuting SAnitY faction from NXT (currently consisting of Alexander Wolfe, Killian Dain, Nikki Cross, and Eric Young.) With the Superstar Shakeup set to take place on Raw and Smackdown next week, it’s possible that SAnitY could be arriving in just a few more days.
