As seen last night, WWE Superstar Liv Morgan made an appearance on Raw last night just one week after she was legitimately kicked in the head by Brie Bella during a match, resulting in Morgan receiving a concussion. Morgan did not wrestle during the show, but she did appear at ringside for a match between Ruby Riott and Ronda Rousey while sporting a new look. WWE did not announce that Morgan had been pulled from the six-woman tag team match pitting Natalya & The Bella Twins against The Riott Squad. Morgan reportedly received concussion testing prior to Raw last night, and WWE’s choice not to pull her from the match with only a few days left until it takes place would seem to suggest that she has been cleared to compete this weekend.

Believe it or not, the Royal Rumble pay-per-view is only a few months away from returning once again to determine who will face their brand’s world champion at WrestleMania 35 in April. This year’s male winner, Shinsuke Nakamura, was a brand new competitor who had never won the 30-man match before in his career. While word on the the planned winner for 2019 remains scarce, it appears that the company will not be selecting another first-time winner. WrestleVotes and Cageside Seats report that the WWE Superstar currently penciled in to win the next Royal Rumble match is an individual who has already succeeded in being the last man in the ring in the past. WWE has already announced in the past that the Royal Rumble event will be coming to Phoenix, Arizona on January 27th of next year.
It has been a wildly successful year for WWE broadcaster Renee Young. After abandoning her traditional role as a backstage interviewer and Kickoff show panel host, Young was given the chance to do commentary for the Mae Young Classic and Mixed Match Challenge shows. After making a few guest appearances at the announcer’s table on Raw for a few weeks, WWE eventually made her a permanent part of the announce team for the show, making her the first woman in history to do so in the process. However, could Young be eyeing the General Manager spot now? Young told The Mirror that she would love to follow in the footsteps of Paige and transition into a GM role. She hopes to possibly become the General Manager of the Raw brand someday.
