The August 26 edition of Monday Night Raw was watched by an estimated 2,528,000 viewers, which is virtually identical to the week before (down 0.2%). That marks three strong showings for WWE’s flagship broadcast coming out of this year’s SummerSlam pay-per-view.
Despite the good news, Raw was still only ousted from the top spot on cable television in adults 18-49 due to the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards, which technically had less viewership overall, but was zeroed in on the target demographic
Raw’s first and second hours were up from last week, at 2.64 million and 2.69 million viewers respectively. The overall average would have likely been over 2.6 million as well, had the third hour not fallen more than 400,000 viewers.
